 Katia Sentry Photography, Freelance Photographer – Chicago, IL 2019 – Present 
• Captures dynamic photos of live events, comedy shows, music performances, portraits, and life milestones.
 • Editing through Adobe software tools and digital alternative processes to create abstract and thought-provoking images. • Works with a variety of equipment including Canon and Nikon cameras, studio lighting, natural light, and flash to create innovative compositional effects. 
• Documented various city events including protests that have contributed to the development of visual storytelling and journalistic approaches. • Building authentic relationships across 20+ clients leads to high return rates and referrals.

• Worked on the social media/outreach team to promote the show’s art submissions and opening night event.

 • Contributed compelling stories for the print and online college newspaper. 
• Edited and revised articles to meet the standards of The Herald and followed AP style guidelines. 
• Provided photographic documentation to coincide with the articles as well as fellow staff writer’s work when necessary.
